Project 100 has Soul

As a part of this historic occasion we will be launching various community affairs along side our big event (The Greater Toledo Urban League’s 13th Annual Dinner) from now until our March 12th major event. For those of you who are eagerly awaiting this big event we have a few corrections and a bit of new information to share with you.
- First of all we have to make a correction about the time of the event.
To clarify: The VIP reception will begin at 6pm and the Dinner itself will start at 7pm. - We also have confirmed a Keynote speaker for the event which will Norma T Hollis [more details posted soon]

Greater Toledo Urban League Senior Program at
J. Frank Troy Senior Center
[dropcap1]T[/dropcap1]he GTUL senior program at J. Frank Troy Senior Center exists solely to improve the lives, health, and the quality of life of Toledo’s elderly. Seniors are assisted in the areas of social services, professional health services, daily living experiences, educational, social issues that affect their well-being and opportunities for personal growth by facilitating the acquisition of new skills.
The center coordinates opportunities for older people to become involved in the community while serving the interest of the participants and the needs of the community at the same time.

Services Provided

- Transportation – Enables seniors to receive services at the center. Seniors are transported from their residence to our facilities via a comfortable air conditioned van.
- Education – Provides opportunities to acquire knowledge and skills through formal classes.

- Health Assessment- Provides basic diagnostic testing and health monitoring.
- Socialization – Promotes the well-being of older persons through participation in group activities.
