Statement of Purpose
The Project RIO program is a program designed exclusively for all ex-offenders in Lucas County. The program is funded by WIA (Workforce Investment Act). The program is designed to help non-custodial parents obtain employment and begin to pay child support. Each participant must participate in the following:
•    Orientation
•    Intake and Assessment
•    Employment Training
•    Career Counseling
•    Job Readiness Workshop
•    Job Seeking and Job Retention Skills
•    Interviewing Skills
•    Computer Training
•    Job Coaching and Job Placement

Program Highlights
•    The program has served 31 clients, we were contracted to serve 25 clients.
•    30 clients completed training, were contracted for 20 clients to complete training
•    26 clients placed in full time employment. We were contracted to place 12 clients in full time employment.
     The GTUL, Inc. exceeded all of the contracted goals, with a population that has been traditionally underserved
