Statement of Purpose
The Summer Mentorship/Basketball Program is designed to serve youth
between the ages of 10 -13 who are referred from ten elementary
schools in the central city. The goal of the program is to provide
the youth with a chance to interact with public safety officials,
mentors and community leaders in a non-confrontational way, while
simultaneously learning and demonstrating their ability to control
anger, resolve disagreements non-violently, and to promote community
service.

program to facilitate girls division and junior/senior boys division

gold and silver medals to the 1st and 2nd place teams in each division
